Filler Cord Technology
This is our sift-proof guarantee. Thick, stiff filler cord is carefully stitched into the crest of each important seam (including the points where the bottom, top, and lifting loops are attached). The use of cord is to physically stretch and fill the microscopic needle holes brought about by the stitching process. This is a simple but very useful method so that in spite of the shaking and pressing during the transportation process, the fine material will not end up, and the bag will be leak-proof indeed.
Gasket and Felt Sealing
To provide extra protection to the most delicate and precious powders, including specialty pigments or active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), we use another layer of protection. Before the stitching, thin felt gaskets or sponge-like material are put in place deliberately underneath the seam. Once the needle and the thread squeeze this gasket, a strong, pressure-tight seal is formed, which completely prevents the migration of ultrafine particles and ensures that the product and the environment are not exposed to dust.
High-Density Weaving
Our Powder Bags have a higher-density woven polypropylene (PP) fabric with a tight mesh structure to supplement the sealed seams. This helps avoid transmission of materials through the fabric itself, which is a precautionary measure of materials that can otherwise be driven through the material, such as carbon black, which can be migrated by normal weaves.
